Day 4- I Choose Trust

Day 4 – Saturday, April 23

Trusting in God is simply believing that He loves you, He is a good Father, and He has the power and desire to help you. You may find you’ve put more trust in yourself, other people, finances, government, etc. But today, the Lord is inviting you to turn your trust toward Him—both for yourself and for your sisters. Father longs to lavish His unconditional love, vast wisdom and limitless supply upon every area of need. Trust is the key that gives God entry; let’s choose to trust in Him.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

“Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation.”. – Isaiah 12:2

PRAY

  • Ask Holy Spirit to show you a record of God’s goodness through Bible stories, others’ testimonies, and past personal experiences.  Write them down as memorial stones for building your altar of surrender.
  • Cry out to God, expressing your dependence on Him.
  • Tell the Lord about your burdens and your dreams, entrusting them all into His capable, loving hands.

DECLARE

I choose to trust in God, recognizing that His faithfulness and ability is much greater than my own, and much greater than my circumstance. All to You, Lord, I surrender.
